A small senior practice — and that is the point.
Aether Stewardship is a digital marketing and consulting practice working remotely with companies in the United States and Europe.
A practice, not a personality.
The company signs the work, and the work is judged on measurement. Every engagement has to stand on what it produces: a baseline, a plan, a report and a decision log.
A decision to spend money should rest on the method and the numbers. That is the only argument this page makes, and the only one we bring to a first call.
We work in five lines: search visibility, paid media, social campaigns, brand and communication, and measurement. They can be engaged one at a time or together, and each of them is measured. See how each line works.
Five principles we will hold you to.
They are written down so that a client can point at them when we fail one.
Measure before recommending
The first deliverable is a baseline, not a proposal. If the numbers show the problem is not where you thought it was, the plan changes. That is the point of measuring first.
Write down what we don't know
Where a result cannot be honestly attributed, the report says so. An attribution we cannot defend is worth less than no attribution at all.
Report in business terms
Cost per acquisition, conversion rate, revenue attributed. Not impressions, not likes, not a wall of charts nobody reads.
Your accounts stay yours
Ad accounts, analytics, domains, content and documentation remain in your name from day one. Leaving should be easy; that is a feature, not a weakness.
Refuse work
We turn down engagements we cannot do properly. It is the only way that a limited number of places means anything.
“There are people behind every project, not a production line. That is the constraint — and it is deliberate.”
We take on a limited number of engagements at a time, and the reason is not exclusivity: it is the time of the people who do the work. When the places are full, we say so and give you a date rather than adding you to a list.
It also means we can be direct. If a smaller engagement, a different channel or a cheaper provider would serve you better, we will say that on the first call.
What you get in writing.
An engagement that leaves nothing behind is not an engagement, it is a subscription. Six documents exist by the end of the first quarter, and all six are yours:
| Baseline report | The numbers as they are, before we touch anything. Without this, no later claim means anything. |
|---|---|
| 90-day plan | Priorities ordered by impact and effort, with budget, calendar and one KPI per channel. |
| Change log | What was changed, when, and what it produced. Including the changes that did nothing. |
| Monthly report | What moved, read in business terms, against the baseline and against last month. |
| Decision log | What was decided and why, so that it survives a change of team on either side. |
| Handover pack | Accounts, access, documentation and content, in your name from day one. |
If one of these is missing at the end of a month, that is a failure on our side — and you should say so.
